Step 2: How to speed up the healing process naturally & reduce your back pain without the cost or long-term side effects of prescription drugs!
I've never been a big fan of prescription drugs or surgery. So when I "blew out" my disk, I knew I'd need to find a real good alternative in order to avoid "going under the knife".
Fortunately, my disk problem was not severe enough (by just a little bit) to require surgery. So I decided to do whatever I could to help my back recover without prescription drugs or surgery.
But I needed something to help the disk itself to heal.
As I said above, I've never been a fan of prescription drugs - although I did visit my family doctor and got a strong pain reliever and anti-inflammatory (just to help at the beginning). Which in fact did nothing to help.
Are there any safe, natural alternatives to prescription drugs & surgery?
So my chiropractor gave me a sample of a natural anti-inflammatory. I'm certainly no doctor or scientist, but taking prescription or over the counter pain relievers (like advil, tylenol, etc.) for a long time is not good for your body - which I was told by both my family doctor and chiropractor. So if both of them warned me, I'm no dummy. So I gave it a try.
Here's a great description of Heal-n-Soothe, a natural anti-inflammatory that uses systemic enzymes to promote healing:
"It's called Systemic Enzyme Therapy and it has been used in numerous countries throughout the world for over 50 years.
The word systemic means whole body and systemic enzymes operate throughout your body in every system and organ. Enzymes, which are known as biocatalysts - something that makes something else work or work faster.
Enzymes are basically the main line of defense against inflammation. Enzymes are not anti-inflammatory drugs but rather reduce inflammation by neutralizing the bio-chemicals of inflammation to levels where the creation, repair and regeneration of injured tissues can take place.
Reducing inflammation can have immediate impact on improved heart health, cancer prevention and recovery, and Alzheimer's prevention. It also helps speed up recovery from sprains, strains, fractures, bruises, contusions, surgery -- and arthritis.
Unlike NSAID's which may give only temporary relief and do not fix the underlying cause of the problem, systemic enzymes work to reduce the inflammation and promote healing without any side effects."
Do your own research. And try Heal-n-Soothe it for yourself.
Keep in mind that there are no "miracle drugs" or "miracle herbal remedies" that will heal your pain overnight. But for me, I did not want to be hooked on medication and wanted to find a safe and effective natural alternative to surgery and prescription drugs!
Here is the program I used to fix my back problems:
After suffering a very painful herniated disk, I found a great program called Lose The Back Pain and within a short time I started feeling better. Now I'm able to run, walk, lift weights, play with the kids ... and I'm still using this program to make sure I stay that way!
